StopwatchPro is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We believe your timing data should stay with you.

What We Collect

Nothing. StopwatchPro collects no personal information, no tracking data, and no usage analytics.

Where Your Data Lives

All your data is stored locally in your browser only:

• Timing Sessions: Saved in your browser's IndexedDB storage
• History & Analytics: Stored locally in IndexedDB
• Preferences & Settings: Saved in browser localStorage
• Custom Interval Programs: Stored in IndexedDB

This means:

• ✅ Your data never leaves your device
• ✅ We cannot access your timing history
• ✅ No servers store your personal data
• ✅ You have complete control over your data

Data Retention

Your timing data is stored in your browser until:

• You manually clear it using the "Clear History" button
• You clear your browser's storage/cache
• You uninstall or reset your browser

We do not have any retention period because we do not receive your data.

Cookies & Tracking

• No cookies: We do not use cookies for tracking or identification
• No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any tracking services
• No third-party scripts: No tracking pixels, social media widgets, or advertising networks

Sharing Your Data

You control sharing:

• Share Button: Generates a URL with your timer configuration or results encoded in the URL parameters
• Export Features: CSV/JSON exports save files directly to your device
• No automatic sharing: We never automatically share your data with anyone

When you use the share button, timer state is encoded in the URL (e.g., ?time=125300&laps=45,48,47). Anyone with the link can see the encoded data. This is intentional - you're choosing to share your results.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally in your browser:

• Access: View your data anytime in the History section
• Export: Export your history to CSV/JSON at any time
• Delete: Clear your history with one click
• Control: You have complete control - we have no access

Children's Privacy

StopwatchPro does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
